According to information provided by the UK audio technology company NXT, Vodafone KK will start selling mobile phones using NXT's flat speakers in July in Japan. This mobile phone will be the second phone introduced in the Japanese market using NXT's flat speakers. NTT DoCoMo was the first mobile phone company to sell such a phone in Japan when it did so in February 2005. Flat speakers are essentially flat panels, such as display screens on mobile phones, which can be used as loudspeakers.
